Important Change to Your Account

Great news – our new tracking platform is ready for your traffic!

You will soon receive your login information via email. When you get it – go ahead and look around!

If you have not received your login information by Friday, Oct 29, 2010 please contact your affiliate manager or a member of our staff at 800.304.0682.

We’ve been busy getting your offers and 3rd party pixels into our new platform. Most of the offers you are running in your old platform are ready to be picked up in our new platform. That means if you see an offer under your new login, you can go ahead and start swapping links. (Don’t worry, even if you can’t swap links right away, we’ll be moving your traffic for you to the new system in coming days and you’ll continue to get credit).

Please note that some offers are not quite ready to be run in our new platform.  These are currently marked as inactive in the new platform.  You can continue to use your old login to pull links on any offers you aren’t seeing in your new login at this time.

We apologize in advance for having you toggle between our old platform and our new platform. We think the upgrade will benefit you in the long run – and it will be well worth the minor short-term hassle.

What’s Next?

At this point you are free to start moving into the new system by logging in and pulling new links. Then, beginning this afternoon, we will start to forward some of your traffic to the new system, offer-by-offer. When we forward your traffic it will immediately start tracking in your new login.  Also, once we start forwarding traffic on an offer you will only be able to pull new links for that offer under your new login.  You will not be able to pull new links from the old login on offers we are forwarding to your new login for you.

What About Stats?

Your stats will be split between both logins for the next few weeks. Your commission will be the total of the reports shown in both systems. At no point will the same conversion track in both systems. Old traffic will track in your old login and new traffic will track in your new login.

What if you log into your old login and can’t find an offer to pull new links?

When you log into our old platform you may start to see that some of your active offers are no longer available to pull links. That means the offer has been moved over to the new platform. So you can simply log into the new platform to access these offers. From there you can begin the process of pulling new links. You will also notice stats for these offers have started to track in your new login (because we are re-routing your existing traffic there for you).

What if you aren’t able to pull new links for an offer you are running in either system because it isn’t in your old login and says “Inactive” in the new login?

If we have hit a cap or encountered a snag on an offer and do not want new traffic to start we’ve hidden the offer temporarily in both systems. You will still get credit for your incoming traffic unless you see “- Deleted” at the end in your stats. In that case you should already have been notified that an offer was going inactive.

Please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions regarding this transition. The most important thing to remember is that you’ll continue to get credit for your traffic as we go through this process. Any traffic we re-route for you from our old platform should continue to track in your new login.

Other Items to Note

4 Ways to Increase Your Affiliate Marketing Commissions

By the Managing Editor of Cutting Edge News

1. Try a New Source of Traffic

Facebook and Google aren’t the only marketplaces in town. Bing, Plenty-of-Fish, Sponsored Tweets, Foursquare, and millions of other vendors are also at your disposal. Trying a new type of media may be a refreshing and financially rewarding way to increase your daily income!

Don’t have the time to track down new sources of traffic? Swing by this article written by Logan Thompson, Over 35 Self-Serve Places To Advertise Online.

2. Take a Survey

Or take on a survey offer. Just like the fashion statements of previous decades seem to go in and out of style, so too do offer types and verticals. Many pubs are finding that what wasn’t working last week is once again in demand. Testing an old favorite in the paid survey or gift card realm, for example, might offer a surprise boast to your daily affiliate income.

3. Take a Nap

Or at least take some time away from your computer. Crazy right? Wrong. Many affiliates mistake the practice of spending long, grueling hours in front of a computer as the only way to achieve success. While this habit may offer short term gains, health issues and chronic fatigue will likely follow. Pace yourself and your daily revenue will remain steady for weeks, months and years,

4. Can I Have Your Email?

If you aren’t collecting email addresses on your site you are missing one of the easiest ways to increase your daily commission.  Offer a free report, download or just plain ask if visitors want to be contacted as new items are added. People have, and will continue to, submit their email addresses on affiliate web sites because… THEY WANT TO BE CONTACTED. If you never ask, you never give them the chance. Add long-term stability and increase revenues by adding email capture to your site.
